Moving is very stressful but working with Diane from Molloy Brothers/Mayflower and Robert was great. My move was across the country so I understood that Molloy Brother would be working with Mayflower on this. They took a lot of the aggravation and time consuming /tedious parts of moving away so you can focus on the next chapter in your life. Everything can be done by email/online/phone or in person with estimates and scheduling. The Mayflower website was easy to navigate and offers helpful tips and useful schedules. They may try to up sell but I didn’t really need the extra services such as post-move cleaning or electronics setup/satellite offers. All the costs were spelled out clearly and I didn’t get any bad surprises or hidden charges in the end. I confirmed the date and the movers communicated with me well and arrived EARLY and ready to pack and move. They packed very carefully and efficiently. They were all friendly and asked questions if they were unsure. Overall, they were fast, efficient and careful in disassembling my furniture and packing my stuff. I was pleased with how it went.
I labeled some of the boxes beforehand but others were labeled after they were packed. A tip is to get different color packing tape for each room or packing tape that has the room labels on them. It makes placing and FINDING the boxes at the new place in the right room so much easier. Everything went smoothly as far as I can tell with the move. You can track the truck on the Mayflower website and the estimated time off arrival. The mover on the receiving end kept me informed and called me to arrange a time that suited me. The day of the arrival, again the movers called ahead and were EARLY. They protected my carpeting to avoid tracking dirt and they were efficient in unloading and reassembling everything. The movers were friendly, they asked questions and they worked fast and carefully. I am happy this was done without any issues so I am taking time to give them praise for doing a very professional job.
My move was probably very small compared to others but I feel they took care of my stuff and made sure I was satisfied. I will recommend this company and their movers and Diane and Robert to everyone.
