Thank you for your email, Kerri!

As the large Molloy truck left the driveway upstate, Todd and I began discussing how we would follow up, so your email serves as a good prompt for us.

Juan noted that “all moves are unique,” but we had a sense that ours may have been more so. But before we go into any detail on that, let me share that we were very happy with your service. From the thoughtful face-to-face with Chris to evaluate our move, through the big move day itself, we could count on your team to be effective problem solvers on our behalf and reliable professionals. Thank you for bringing a level of calm to a stressful day!

Now, back to June 6 (our move day): Moving from a luxury building with extensive parking and an elevator is uncomplicated and perhaps even ideal, however that wasn’t the case on XXrd Street! Not only is parking notoriously difficult in Midtown, but the 100-plus-year-old fifth floor walk-up offered tight halls and 70 steps to navigate. Still, Juan and his crew handled this with aplomb. Then, upstate, while we thought unloading at the house would be simple, we hadn’t anticipated such a large vehicle going up our steep drive. In fact, no vehicle of this size has been up the driveway in at least 13 years! There, too, the hallways were tight. And there, too, Juan and his crew met the challenge with some creative maneuvering (like a 15-point turn in the driveway and using a floor-through to the loft to place a sofa in a second-floor room).

It was a long day, but we’re glad we entrusted it to the care of the Molloy!

Thank you for a job well done!

All the best,

Gary and Todd
